I have sent the floor plans to your email address as file attachments along with a message. The floor plans (as said in the message) are of the real house which was never used in the films due to legal reasons. The floor plans cover not only the map of all rooms in the house but also the exterior facade of all four sides of the house....so in other words, north, west east and south elevations.
If you plan to use the movie house watch either the 1979 movie or the Amityville 2 the possession . Though the house had some renovations in the 2nd film it is still virtually the same bar the attic being divided into rooms. Note that the floor plan is mirror reversed the kitchen is larger, there are 2 chimneys (as the master bedroom has a fire place) and the floor plan of the 2nd storey (where most of the bedrooms are) is different to the real house (the sewing room is smaller as it is next to the master bedroom for example). You'll see what I mean when you watch the film. I'd say the movie one is similar in size but could be wider as the quarter moon windows are larger and there is a bit of space between those windows and the chimneys.

Oh if you want to know about the redroom it is nothing special. It was a plant room that the rieleys wanted. They lived in the house before the Defoes, I have spoken to a guy that dated the daughter of that family back in the 1960's he also went to that house and said it was a very nice place. That girl went on to become an actress appearing in 90210 occasionnally, and in colombo as well. Her name now I think is Christine Belford. Even to this day former occupants visit the house because they had so many good times there.......so I don't believe it's haunted to the degree that has been made out. The Redroom was just a minor alteration made to suit Mrs Rieley's interest in photography.
